Aims & Objectives
- To protect, promote, and safeguard the interest of the Association and to provide safety appliances’ testing and trading facilities for its members and the public at large.
- To promote social harmony and unity among the members of the Association and the public at large.
- To create cooperation and fraternity among the members as well as the public at large and those engaged directly or indirectly or connected with the manufacturer and or sale of safety appliances with a view to their adapting a common policy and collectively taking such steps as may be expedient to safeguard and to promote further interests of its members.
- To publish, print, exhibit, and issue books, pamphlets, posters, periodicals, journals, calendars, diaries, and souvenirs useful to members and the public at large.
- To protect, promote, safeguard and defend the interest of the members of the Association and assist the members in their just and legitimate rights and grievances and get them addressed before the right forums like the redressal committee, inquiry committee, courts of law, etc. through discussions, negotiations, mediations, arbitration and/or any other appropriate legal remedy available.
- To share information, news, and knowledge with all members on safety and occupational health.
- To tie-up with event organizers to incentivize trade shows, exhibitions, and business seminars for SAMA Members.
- To interact and collaborate with other related associations on matters of mutual interest for the industry.
- To tie-up with accredited laboratories for testing and certification of safety appliances within India.
- To interact, assist, give comments, suggestions, recommendations, present papers on government policies, procedures, guidelines, initiatives, standards, and other related activities in the field of health, safety, to the Government bodies and associations.
- To assist such government bodies in framing, formulating such policies, and spreading awareness of government initiatives amongst its members and customers.
- To form a strong association with India’s top technical and business institutes to work on research and development of innovative products.
- To organize regular training sessions for members by reputed organizations in the country to enhance skill development.
- To collect and provide donations for health, safety and other charitable causes.
- To perform any other act, which may be incidental or conducive to any of the above objects of the Association.
- To utilize the incomes, earnings, movable/immovable properties of the Association towards promotion and fulfilling the aims and objectives of the Association. No profit thereof be paid, used, utilized or transferred, directly or indirectly, by way of dividends, bonus or in any other manner whatsoever to the present, past or future members of the Association or any person claiming through any one or more of the present, past or future members.
- To ensure and procure that no member of the Association has any personal claim, right, interest, or entitlement on any movable or immovable properties of the Association or puts any movable or immovable property of the Association for its use or makes any profit or income thereof in any manner whatsoever.
